Permanent Forum:
‘Environmental Racism and Climate Emergency’

FORUM-PERMANENTE-Racismo-Ambiental-e-Emergencia-Climatica.jpg

The 'Environmental Racism and Climate Emergency' Permanent Forum will bring together experts, activists and leaders to discuss the unequal impact of the climate emergency on indigenous and marginalised peoples and communities. Through lectures and thematic roundtables, the forum will address topics such as extreme weather events, the energy transition, public health and climate resilience, all from an environmental justice perspective. Organised by CAMEJA, CAIAPI, CADER, DEDH and NIPE, this event provides an opportunity to reflect on and take collective action to defend socio-environmental rights.
